The role
We are looking for a Communications Business Partner. This is a pivotal role that puts you at the heart of engaging with our local community, forging strong relationships with our portfolio partners, and connecting with our incredible team. You will share our stories with our community, and build and foster strong staff engagement through a seamless execution of powerful, creative and influential communication initiatives.

Be the trusted voice for our people and local community delivering powerful, motivating, clear and engaging communications
Identify opportunities and close the gaps, driving fresh ideas to elevate our internal communications and keep our team informed and inspired
Confidently manage communications during emergencies and critical events keeping everyone in the loop when it matters the most
Bring our brand to life supporting the development and embedding of our brand strategy and Employee Value Proposition (EVP)
Create, own and maintain a calendar of organisational events ensuring they are delivered on time and with impact
Assist with digital content across social media channels to grow our presence and share our voice
Support managers in creating and building stories and images while championing our internal communications channel (Viva) and our intranet
About you
Previous experience in a communications role with a relevant communications qualification - you're a voice that makes a difference
You're a storyteller and creator; you don't just write content; you create engaging and effective communication that resonates with others that builds a strong connection
Demonstrated ability to produce and deliver effective communications material
If you are familiar with the energy sector, that's a definite plus, but not essential
Have a collaborative and confident mindset, making tough calls while keeping everyone on the same page
You know how to inspire others and influence outcomes with an adaptable approach
A big picture thinker with a sharp eye for accuracy and a good sense of humour
