The role
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Connections Support Coordinator to join this tight-knit and collaborative team. You'll work across the business while ensuring the creation of our ICP's (Installation Control Point) are completed accurately, smoothly and align with our regulated environment and requirements.
With over 230,000 ICP's on our network, you'll have a key focus on handling distributed generation applications, request and queries from customers, contractors and retailers which combines administrative tasks and investigative thinking. Manage the ICP creation process for all connections across the network ensuring accuracy and efficiency
Investigate and resolve stakeholder queries with professionalism and care
Process applications for new and distributed generation connections
Manage the processing of temporary and greenfield connection jobs
Collaborate extensively across internal team and external parties delivering a positive and timely experience
Conduct wider team administrative tasks juggling queues and email-based requests
About you
Previous experience in a similar role within a regulated environment - preferably utilities, telco, gas or energy)
Confidence in navigating regulatory frameworks - familiarity with the Electricity Authority's Code is a bonus
A pro-active customer-focused approach with exceptional communication skills
A continuous improvement mindset to enhance processes and outcomes
A curious thinker with a sharp eye for accuracy and a good sense of humour
