The role
Due to continued growth we are looking for a Contract Manager - Connections (Standard) reporting to our Connections Services Team Leader. You will primarily look after new network connection points for new and existing housing and subdivision connections including connection upgrades to residential and commercial properties.
This role involves a high-level of problem solving and customer engagement to ensure we continue to deliver outstanding service to our customers. It's a role with fantastic diversity within a great team, so come join us.
Manage customer relationships, enquiries and expectations by providing guidance and consultation through the delivery process
Conduct assessments of technical connections ensuring outcomes are compliant
Complete reactive work providing safe outcomes for customers
Minimise risks created by customer driven construction or decommission work
About you
3 years' experience in a similar role or environment (infrastructure, energy, utilities or construction) with a New Zealand Electrical registration or equivalent
A good working knowledge of electricity networks
Ability to make robust decisions with strong communication skills
An understanding of the NZ Regulatory environment, in particular the Electricity Authority - Code of Compliance
A high level of attention to detail and a customer centric approach
