The role
Are you a big-picture thinker who thrives on shaping technology strategy and guiding complex solution delivery? We are looking for a pragmatic and strategic Enterprise Solution Architect to join our Digital, Data & Technology team and help us power a cleaner, smarter energy future.
As our Enterprise Solution Architect, you'll provide architectural leadership across data, applications, integration, and technology platforms. As part of a small team, you'll need to be able to balance strategic design with delivery reality while uplifting organisational maturity while ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and value-driven. This is your chance to be the advisor people want in the room, driving transformation that matters to our customers, our network, and our goal of a low-carbon future.
Define and maintain enterprise architecture models, capability frameworks, and transformation roadmaps
Lead architecture governance forum to ensure alignment, consistency, and practical decision-making
Provide assurance and design leadership for major enterprise systems (asset management, geospatial mapping, operational technology, enterprise resource planning, and customer platforms)
Support data and artificial intelligence initiatives enabling predictive analytics, strong data management practices, and advanced machine learning capabilities
Bring together digital and operational systems making them secure, resilient, and ready for the next wave of smart technology
Engage and influence senior leaders, partners, and delivery teams - balancing immediate priorities with long-term strategic value
About you
Good Enterprise Architect experience (approx. 10 years) in complex asset related environments
Depth of knowledge in enterprise platforms (ERP, EAM, GIS, SCADA/OT, data and integration platforms)
Expertise in enterprise data architecture, integration, and analytics enablement
Understanding of industry frameworks and standards for architecture and cybersecurity
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to simplify complexity for executives and delivery teams
Recognised as a trusted advisor who can “own the room,” influence decision-makers, and be the go-to person across the business
A humble, collaborative style with a confident, approachable, able to engage constructively and build trust
