We're looking for a Geospatial Specialist reporting to our Geospatial Platform & Delivery Manager where you will be immersed in analysing geospatial data, conducting data management and helping to implement integrations across core business systems. You'll love to create maps, applications and models, and are motivated by solving complex geospatial problems, while providing insights and guidance across the business.


  • Source, collect and maintain accurate geospatial information while ensuring the integrity, quality and accessibility of our geospatial data

  • Provide advice on the integration of geospatial data and relevant enterprise systems

  • Conduct geospatial analysis, risk assessments and predictive modelling to support infrastructure planning, asset management and operational efficiency

  • Integrate geospatial web technologies into existing business systems enabling near real-time data access and improved operational decision-making

  • Collaborate with the wider business including field teams to identify geospatial needs and implement innovative solutions

About you


  • Bachelors degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science or a related field with a depth of experience in geospatial roles - preferably within a utility or infrastructure environment

  • Advanced knowledge of Esri ArcGIS Pro and Enterprise, AGOL, Portal, Experience builder, Esri mobile apps and web-based geospatial applications and tools

  • Natural ability to connect and collaborate with others where you can convey information and ideas to various audiences

  • Proficiency in geospatial data management, spatial databases, data versioning and automating field data collection

  • Ability to manage and influence stakeholders across the business while managing conflicting needs and priorities

  • A curious, pro-active and positive approach with the ability to think outside the box and not be afraid to try new things
