The role


Due to continued growth, we're creating a brand-new Land and Planning Advisor, we're looking for someone who's ready to build their career in planning, land and resource management.

Whether you've already gained experience in planning, environmental compliance, property or local government, or you're ready to take the next step, this is a role where you'll be supported to learn, develop and grow.

Working alongside experienced professionals, you'll support planning and consenting activities that help deliver a safe and reliable electricity network. You'll work with councils, consultants and internal teams on a variety of projects, gaining valuable experience while making a genuine impact.


  • Help shape a brand-new role with plenty of opportunity to grow while supporting planning and consenting activities across a diverse project portfolio

  • Build strong relationships with councils, consultants, stakeholders and landowners

  • Review planning proposals and coordinate resource consent processes

  • Provide practical advice that supports successful project delivery

  • Learn from experienced professionals while building your planning career

About you


  • You're ready to grow your career in planning, land or resource management

  • Experience in planning, property, local government or environmental compliance would be a real advantage

  • Naturally organised, with a great eye for detail and a knack for keeping things on track

  • An approachable communicator who enjoys building strong relationships with a variety of people

  • You'll be curious by nature and always looking to learn, improve and develop

  • Able to manage competing priorities without losing sight of the detail

  • A team player who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and contributing to shared success
