The role

We're looking for a QHS Assurance and Investigation Advisor to strengthen our assurance framework, lead audit activities and help ensure our systems, processes and controls are effective, compliant and continually improving.

This role has a strong assurance focus, leading audits, monitoring corrective actions, identifying improvement opportunities and supporting investigations across the business. You'll work closely with leaders and stakeholders to turn findings into meaningful improvements that strengthen quality, health and safety performance.

  • Lead and deliver audits across the business to assess compliance, systems and process effectiveness and continuous improvement opportunities

  • Develop and maintain audit frameworks e.g. ISO 45001, ISO 45003, 55001 and NZS 7901 evidence requirements and assurance reporting

  • Lead significant event investigations and support the implementation of effective corrective actions

  • Monitor compliance, emerging risks and performance trends across quality, health and safety activities

  • Build capability through coaching, training and practical guidance on assurance and investigation practices

  • Drive continuous improvement through audit findings, shared learnings and proactive risk management

About you


  • Significant industry experience supported by a Health & Safety qualification or equivalent practical experience

  • Experience developing system frameworks, leading audits, investigations or assurance activities within complex operational environments

  • Strong understanding of risk management, licence to operate (compliance) and continuous improvement principles

  • An analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends, assess risk and make practical recommendations

  • The confidence to influence, challenge constructively and build strong relationships across the business

  • Highly organised, self-motivated and passionate about improving quality, health and safety outcomes
